Greetings Sysops!
This message announce the formation of (another) Network for ECHOmail
and for File ECHOS.
WHY another Network?
WHAT does it mean?
HOW MUCH is it?
HOW MUCH can I make as a Sysop?
Well, first, this network is designed from the GROUND UP to respond to
SYSOP needs for mail. Each mailer has ONE address only, and this makes
for ease in ROUTED NETMAIL. Each SYSOP is important in mail flow, and
NO Sysop is more important than another.
Not only is ROUTED NETMAIL supported, but the structure supports FILE
ROUTING, and there is also support for ENCRYPTED NETMAIL. This allows
your corporate systems to have PRIVATE NETMAIL.
There is NO CHARGE to join or to maintain the Network.
NO MONEY is made by this Network.
The IDEA is the delivery of ECHOMAIL TOPICS and FILES in a timely manner
to the Sysops of the Network. There is no true HUB system, you get your
mail where you can find it, usually based on your Local calling Zone, and
your relation with other EarthLink Sysops. YOU decide the ECHOS, the FILES,
WHEN to poll, and WHERE to poll.
As an added bonus, we are carrying uucp Newsgroups gated into our EarthLink
software. You can reply to uucp without having an internet address. There
are currently about 6000 newsgroups available.
Sound interesting? FREQ an application and information packet from the
following FIDO nodes:
Jeff Schrunk (IC) at 1:124/6515 or 88:214/101 Mark D Winton, MD at 1:289/8.0
or 94:109/0
FREQ: EARTHLNK for info/app packet
EARTHLST for latest nodelist
POLICY for latest ECHO/Sysop Policy
ECHOLIST for list of current topics.
Thanks for your interest!
... Live by the sword, die by the long bow.
